Following the sad news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we have received guidance from England Rugby that fixtures this weekend should go ahead to allow those in the rugby community to come together to grieve and celebrate the life of our longest serving monarch.
We are due to welcome Henley and Belsize Park to Woollams for our first home fixtures of the season for the 1st XV and Romans respectively. Ahead of the fixture there will be a lunch at the club and we encourage as many of you to come down to celebrate and mark the occasion.
We will be marking the remarkable life and contribution of Queen Elizabeth II with a minutes silence before kick off.
Thank you for your service ma’am, RIP
God save the King!
