BUDDY AN OA PLAYER 2021/22
The new season is just around the corner and, with the help of our loyal supporters, we are about to revive the Buddy initiative.
The scheme you will remember aims to build a closer relationship between players and their supporters, encouraging participants to look out for each other in the clubhouse and share experiences over a post- match beer. Buddies names are also displayed alongside players’ headshots on the upstairs gallery at Woollams.
This time we are keen to find a Buddy for every single member of the senior squad, an approach strongly supported by our coaching staff.
Matching up will be done by means of a ballot which will be controlled such that every Buddy will be guaranteed a player. The draw is scheduled before ko on Saturday 25th September, the day of our home game against Worthing. Cost of entry is £100 and the scheme is open to both individuals and syndicates.
