The weather tried its hardest but you can’t keep an OA down..
On Sunday morning Woollams once again played host to its annual festival of rugby.
This now annual event designed to give new and developing players a chance to play festival rugby alongside some more seasoned campaigners.
OAs welcomed local and more distant friends including Harpenden, Hitchin, Tabard, Tring, OVs and Olney to name a few.
Some 600 players attended the festival across the clubs from U7s to U12s.
The weather truly wasn’t kind but once gazebos were raised and games were underway the players just cracked on and made for an entertaining if not slightly soggy morning.
Huge thanks to all the volunteers, visiting sides and support of OASA that made this years event another resounding success. Roll on next year.
