OA got back to winning ways with a seven try victory over a Sevenoaks side still looking over their shoulders at the drop zone. The opening exchanges were even and both teams were happy to keep the ball in hand despite the cold conditions. OA opened the scoring on 9 minutes after a 50 meter run from Elliott Mcphun into the Sevenoaks twenty-two, the fly half was well supported by open side flanker Kemp Price who scored. Man of match scrum half Tom Wilton converted, as he did with all the OA tries. OA were making ground through their strong running centres and the second try came as the ball was moved through the back line from right to left and full back Nurse scored in the corner. Further tries came steadily as OA were playing confident fifteen man rugby. Prop Mat Ramzan scored the third and centre Brown the bonus point try on 35 minutes after a run from 22 to 22 he exchange passes with Mcphun and scored under the posts. The fifth OA try can on the stroke of halftime for scrum half Wilton. Sevenoaks had a penalty on 10 minutes from Ben Adams so it was 35-3 at the break. In the second half Sevenoaks look a different team they attached OA from all over the pitch and this, for them at least, led to two interception tries for OA from Wilton and Nurse who went the full length of the pitch after pressure in the OA twenty two. Sevenoaks did get a deserved score of their own through hooker Scott Sedgwick found himself at the bottom on a series of rolling mauls which rumbled over the OA try line. OA can now look forward to the season run in and start to climb the table.
