Saints
The Saints have basically taken Readings place in Championship 1 south, they got relegated, we got promoted. The game was very kindly hosted by Harpenden RFC due to OA’s pitches not being ready and the building work on the club balcony.
Saints ran out winners 85-8, a comprehensive win against a very good reading team. A good win and a great start to our preseason under new head coach Sarah McKenna.
Sarah said after the game: “a good win built on the back of a strong preseason training regime. The players challenged themselves against the game plan which gave us great outcomes. In the final run towards the season we’ll continue to build on this positive start.”
