OAs will be looking to continue into this weekend with another strong performance and push on from last week’s dominant performance over London Irish wild geese. As the end of the season closes in on us the pressure is on to ensure that Albanians finish the season on a high with winning the last two games of the season and improving their league position as much as they can. As it is the last game in front of the Woollams faithful the boys will be looking to continue the winning run in front of the home fans.

Henley Hawks have been having a fantastic season and will be looking to come to Woollams and put in a dominant performance as all the teams will in the games despite their league positions are all looking to end their season on a high. There is a lot going on at Woollams this coming Saturday with a memorial match taking place after the game in remembrance and tribute for James Pavitt. Also, club legend and stalwart Ross Hamilton is retiring so it is his last home game for the club.

Ones to watch

Old Albanians – as it’s his last game for the club look out for massive impacts both in attack and defence from the cornerstone in the Albanian side who goes by the name of Rossco!

Henley Hawks – look out for barnstorming winger Jack Robinson who earned himself a Player of the Week from NCA Rugby earlier in the season.

Previous encounters

You have to go all the way back to mid-December when these two sides last lock horned on a dull afternoon in Oxfordshire. Henley being the victors that day from what seemed to be down to a second-half turn around from the hawks even in tough conditions. So Albanians will be looking to make it even Stevens this Saturday in front of the Woollams faithful on a day where rugby must shine and entertain the crowd for all the right reasons.

Make sure that you get down to Woollams this Saturday which is set out to be a wonderful occasion for everyone and end the season on a high as I suspect not many of the Woollams faithful will be making the trip to Guernsey raiders on the last game of the season.
