Saints played host to Old Elthamians at Woollams. A physical game was expected and did not disappoint.

Both sides started well and had come to play rugby. Saints scored first then piled the pressure on as their backline threatened to cut lose.. 3 scores meant a 15 point lead after 20mins…..Old Elthamians tightened up, pulling two scores back before the break.

A tough physical second half added no scores as both teams created pressure at key moments to stop any flow.

Saints ran out 15-10 winners to maintain top spot.
