Saints ended their league campaign with a short trip to Chesham. After a tough start where the home side took a deserved lead, Saints started to find fluidity and control, took the lead and never looked back, as the intensity levels rose, so did the skill and physicality. Saints ran out 47-12 victors, to end the season top and looking forward to 7th of April play off. Prior to that they negotiate a tough home semi final in the cup against Newbury.
Head Coach Brown said “after a tricky start the players regrouped by staying positive, in control, working out the finer details and solving the on field challenges collectively. Another step forward for this squads growing trust. Credit to Chesham, they made us work hard for every score. We look forward to this coming weekend as Newbury visit Woollams in the cup semi final.”
Next weekend is the big game at Woollams! Cup semi final against Newbury Rfc. We need a big crowd!
