A wet and windy Woollams was the scene for Saints Vs Medway for the final home league match of the season. Knowing two points would land Saints the league title their season long efforts deserved. First quarter did not contain the usual clinical performance by Saints. The game exploded in to life as the forwards started to up the tempo… three scores led to a 15-0 lead at half time… a forced change led to a settling period. Although always in control of the game, Saints worked hard to create chances, but could not add the final pass required. Medway scored the only points of the 2nd half. A gutsy performance by the home side saw them win 15-5 and with it… the league title.
