Saints are the women’s section of Old Albanian RFC.
Our Vision
To become a hub of women’s rugby in Hertfordshire and the UK – setting the standard of how to run an inclusive, friendly, hard-working club which positively impacts the local community and beyond.
Our Mission
To grow and develop healthy and happy players who have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
To build relationships within OA Rugby – particularly OGs, Mens and Juniors.
To build strong and lasting connections with the local community.
Saints Update
Following the heights of the play-off semi final and 2XV promotion at the end of the 22/23 season, the Saints have spent pre-season focussing on building on the momentum of last season.
We have welcomed two new coaches in Phil Walker and Alex Mcall who join us with a view to working with our newly promoted 2XV as they embark on their maiden Championship 2 campaign.
A strong pre-season performance against perennial Champ 2 (SE) side, Hackney Gladies, saw Saints 2XV triumph 51-0. Led by Saints veteran Nadia Brannon-Dickinson, in her 20th season, the match saw several former Juniors make their senior debuts in Saints colours, a promising sign for the season to come.
Elsewhere, Saints 1XV will look to maximise on the benefits of an intense pre-season with early fixtures against Beckenham, London Irish & long-standing rivals, Bath who we will be welcoming to Woollams on Saturday 14th October prior to the Men’s RWC Qtr Finals.
